Hi! I'm Brenda!
I started drawing when I was very little, reading Archie and Garfield comics and drawing Powerpuff Girls fanart. Then I discovered the How to Draw Manga book (you know, the blue one), which became the springboard for me to start drawing "for real." Seriously, construction lines blew my mind back then. Ever since drawing has become all I ever wanted to do. Though my studies have bounced me around to different areas (film, animation, writing), my core interest has always been comics and illustration.Born in California, raised in Arizona, I attended Scottsdale Community College and later Arizona State University, where I received my bachelor's in Art Studies. Finally, as of December 2023 I completed an online Graduate program at Academy of Art Univeristy's School of Illustration, wherein I studied comics, visual development, and storyboarding. Ash & Dust
In a land where time is frozen and death is but an obstacle to be overcome, Ash and their dragon companion Dust collect the souls of the dead and carry them to the afterlife. However, the Winter King and the corrupted denizens of the land of Winter seek to consume the souls for themselves.
